- Twiza
- This term refers to a pact of economic cooperation between households or individuals. It provides mutual aid and collective labor assistance for workers unable to complete certain agricultural tasks within a reasonable amount of time. In this manner, a worker is assured of labor to work his land and harvest its produce to make up for labor shortage within his household. Labor is exchanged on a fieldby-field basis. The twiza labor is contributed for the duration it takes to complete a certain agricultural task, no matter how small or large the field may be.
