Teguidda-N-Tagait
   An important archaeological site and Tuareg village about 85 kilometers from Agadez. It is a Neolithic site and may be the most significant site in the Sahara. The site contains about 250 examples of prehistoric rock art. It was also a major base for the Songhay sovereign Askia Mohammed during his attack on the Sultanate of Agadez between 1500 and 1515.
